It’s Christmas week
And I’ve been on the holiday spirit a lot this year
A lot more than all the years in the past
Maybe because this year I have come to enjoy my life - for it’s various shades and hues
I met the holiday cheer at the right inflection point too
Got the tree up
Decked the halls
Got my cute crib out…
Picked up a new hobby ahead of the new year
Shared the joy with friends who will come into the new year with me
Made peace with the fact that I have a handful of people in my life that I genuinely love and who genuinely love me back.
I love the work I do
I love the life I live
I am grateful for all the blessings I receive
And I bless all those who bless me with their love
What else does anyone need in life?
